From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire experience. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding and stylish decor that create a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The dining experience was also a highlight. The restaurant offers a fantastic menu with delicious options that cater to a variety of tastes. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made each meal feel special. The hotel's amenities are equally impressive. The gym is well-equipped with modern machines and weights, making it easy to stick to your fitness routine. The entertainment areas are fantastic, offering a range of activities that are perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Whether it’s playing a game of pool, relaxing in the lounge, or enjoying a movie in the screening room, there’s something for everyone. The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel truly exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a plush, luxurious escape that we can’t wait to return to. Justin from Catherine’s bar was just incredible. He came to check on us, made sure we received excellent service, and personally took AMAZING care of us. When we returned for dinner he visited us and asked about our drinks and food; and when we prepared to leave he expressed HIS appreciation for having us there. He made us feel so welcomed and really special. We all fell in love with him and even if I were just passing through W-S I would think to stop at Catherine’s to have a drink and a meal for the excellent food yes! But especially to see him!!!

The building and architecture itself are stunning, rooms are clean and spacious (we had a corner room overlooking the RjR smoke stacks). Sink wasn’t draining (stopper was stuck) when we checked in and someone came immediately. Everyone was really kind and helpful, and the downstairs playroom as perfect with kids! Would certainly book again!

It was clean. Didn’t like I had to call front desk for late checkout. The following day. The whole point of late checkout is so you don’t have to get up early to get one. I think. Also they need Netflix hbo on demand etc for the price of the room. And none of that. It’s Winston not a hopping city.
